I can’t stand ICHC-speak. Looking at it for too long makes me lose faith in humanity.
I don’t mind the ICHC-speak, but there is a time and a place.
It is neither the time nor place here, at job interviews or at funerals.
I’m sure there is a whole list capitulating everything that isn’t from ICHC but I’m not typing all that out.
What is this ‘capitulating’ you speak of?

‘S okee, cheezburger *pat*. The tendency of most supposedly human interaction on any given site is towards the unfairly critical and outright viciously insulting; comments they would never, ever make face-to-face to a total stranger are given free reign. It’s not unrelated to the tendency of most persons (sic) to become assholes once in their cars since, for the most part, driving confers the same sort of anonimity.
I will now no doubt be deluged with invective decrying my own anonimity. Before you respond to call me hypocritical, note please that I attacked no one here; I merely stated the tendency of all such websites to draw this sort of reaction.

It doesn’t seem to me that people on this site don’t understand Venn diagrams; they simply don’t understand that humour is in large part originality and cleverness.

While I understand the visual joke, I must also say that the amount of overlap is not relevant in such a graph. The diagram is one of relationship, not quantity.
Venn diagrams, in fact, don’t say anything about the relative sizes of sets.

why? it depends on the variables that you show in it, in this case “amount of people who do whatever” doesn’t lack this criterion
Again, Venn diagrams do not show “amounts”. There is no number being represented, no value or range of values. They are a relational diagram. If something overlaps, it overlaps, period. There is no distinction regarding the amount of overlap.
