Sounds very similar to my cat. Although mine tends to switch between grumpy and cupboard love.
I find those numbers pretty hard to understand. I’m not sure how you’re defining them? Percentage of total love might have been clearer.

With my cats it’s less about actual hunger and more about treat proximity.
