  1. Rina says:

I don’t know about anyone else but most of my friends in Ivory towers usually are on the outside in deer stands

  2. Sabriand says:

can we not let this song just go away? I mean really, that’s all we need is a meme of this…. let it die, for the love of humanity.

  3. KMaag says:

This is one of the greatest songs ever written.

And one of the greatest ever sung, but only in drunken karaoke.

  4. Phil says:

This graph fails for two reasons: Ivory towers and black tie affairs.

  5. Whatever says:

I don’t happen to like the song, but this graph so clearly does not fail.

Most of the graphs posted to this site are retarded. Their bar graphs are usually zero or one. Their pies are equally divided, adding no meaning to just quoting the damn song. And speaking of quoting, their graph titles are just that.

This graph wins by rephrasing the title to catch you by surprise. And the sizes of the slices have meaning. Subtlety win.

    • Phil says:

The song never makes reference to friends (aka recreational associates) in EITHER to Ivory Tower OR black tie affairs. In fact, if you understand the lyrics, it is quite the opposite. One location that could have been a winner was the “OH-asis!” since it was at least a place that the singer was referring to as a place he was going “’cause [he's] got friends in low places.”
I enjoy the song and the attempt, but as I’ve stated before, the Ivory Towers and black tie affairs references are what made this graph fail.
