  1. Usoki says:

    Brilliant. Best Techno-beat song ever.

    • Bubba says:

Can you really classify this as techno?

      • Usoki says:

No, you can’t. It’s not even close. But it has a very heavy, techno-LIKE baseline. It’s…sorta like tofu techno. You have to admit it’s within the ballpark, so to speak.

        • Bubba says:

Yeah, i will give you the beat, but than again, A lot of 80’s songs had this type of heavy beat. I will say these are proably the songs that help lead to the Detroit Techno of the late 80’s

    • tl says:

Synthpop is probably the best description, or new wave maybe, but certainly it was a predecessor to techno even though it isn’t techno.

      Catchy song, either way.

    • your mom says:

your mom’s the best techno song ever.

  2. lowly grunt says:

Even watching his mouth, I STILL can’t understand what the hell he’s saying.

Don’t watch the shades of the dying blades of yore? WTF?

  3. podgirl says:

Don’t masquerade with the guy in shades, oh no.

  4. podgirl says:

Okay, the whole line: “Don’t push the blame on the guy in shades, oh no. Don’t masquerade with the guy in shades, oh no. I can’t believe it, cuz you’ve got it made with the guy in shades.”

    Or something to that effect.

  5. inkytwist says:

“Don’t switch the blade on the guyyyyyyyyyyyy in shades, oh no!”

I love how freakin’ creepy (and AMAZING) that song is.

  6. Fish says:

    “I’m Corey Hart.”
“Good Lord! What happened to you?”
“I wore my sunglasses at night… and I ended up in a pretty serious car accident.”

  7. Pom Rania says:

I always thought it said “Don’t mask around, let them die in shades of gold [blue]“; sometimes I heard it as gold, sometimes as blue.

    And I love this song.

  8. kimmy says:

    haha good one
