Or the river, if you’ve had more than four beers by the time they get around to playing the song. I mean, he could have grown up on a houseboat, right? Or he’s a fish (see what I mean about 4+ beers?) My Detroiter contract requires me to nitpick every time I hear it.
You DO realize that the offending lyric is always sung aloud by Detroit sports fans when it comes on, right? My Detroiter/Detroit Sports Fan contract requires me to point that out.
