Retitle:
States in which the general public are not taught that prepositions should not be used to end sentences.
This comment is something up with which we should not put.
Then what should sentences (or questions) be ended with…assbucket?
You mean “With what should sentences (or questions) be ended…assbucket?”
But, If the devil was “In a bind because he was way behind” doesn’t that suggest he failed to collect from a lot of other states aswell?
And if he was “looking for a soul to STEAL”, then why bother to challenge Johnny at all, in what seemed to be a fair wager? Oh well. Still a good song.
I prefer the Jamaica version.
“The Devil went down to Jamaica,
he was lookin’ to sell some weed.
He was doin’ fine, they were standing in line,
It was excellent weed indeed.”
You play a prtty good fiddle boy, but give the Devil his due
Here’s a cool comic on the subject.

I move to retitle Ryan’s Retitle:
States in which the general public is taught that the word public is plural.
Actually, that state is one or two over west. Clinton was proud of his achievement. He took that state from 50th in Education to 49th…woohoo.
Lewis Black thinks they just shot some dumb kids.
uHM.. I’m swedish and love this site. But this one i didnt get. What state is it?
It’s Georgia. The Charlie Daniel’s Band has a song called “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” about Satan going to Georgia and failing to obtain a boy’s soul. Watch the video posted; it’s a decent song.
Is it just me, or does anyone else prefer the Devil’s solo to Johnny? I always did have a little bit of sympathy…
Sympathy for the devil? xD
i completely agree. (i know plenty of others who do, too, so don’t feel bad)
Band Of Demons ROCKS HARD!!
Win.
