The longer I live, the more I learn about the one and only Jimi Hendrix. First I found out he was a classic blues-man. I never realized he was a leftie, too. He sure stands up good, for a stoned musician. A friend told me he was always stoned when performing. Maybe I should give it a try!

He did it at the Monterey Pop festival which was basically his big US debut - he was trying to show up The Who who played right before him.

I read a 500pg biography on him. Apparently someone he dated thought he was saying “kiss this guy”.
