  1. FishyFred says:

There is so much more graph in this subject. Go back to the scene in which Deckard and Bryant are going over the fugitive replicants. They are supposed to be five, but only four of them die in the movie: Leon, Pris, Roy, and Zhora. Apparently, the guy playing Bryant said the wrong number, they had a take with the right number in it, but for whatever reason, it didn’t get used.

  2. Kevin T. says:

I swear, if there’s a grosser, more boring movie out there, I haven’t seen it.

  3. Platypus says:

In response to FishyFred, I thought the graph was a reference to the Director’s Cut’s origami unicorn at the end, implying that Deckard is most definitely a replicant.

    Either way, an amusing graph.

  4. FishyFred says:

Platypus: No, you were right about the graph, but for such an awesome movie, Blade Runner has some serious continuity errors and goofs.

  5. JT says:

Platypus – this is my graph – and you’re correct: it was just the unicorn thing implying Deckard is a replicant, which the original film doesn’t.
FishyFred – you’re right too. There’s a lot more here, but it was my first graph and I was trying to keep it simple.

  6. Pops says:

I think this is an excellent example of the best sorts of graphs: simple, funny, to the point. The creator was pretty obviously just referencing (is a SPOILER warning even necessary at this point?) the fact that in the original release, it’s rather ambiguous whether or not Deckard is a replicant, so most people accept that there is only one left alive (Rachael); in the Director’s Cut, it’s fairly clear there are two. :)

Looking forward to seeing mroe from this guy.

  7. whitey138 says:

if youve ever read the book it implies that he is a replicant for a while and i dont believe its ever really figured out…..typical phil dick.

  8. Robert Buelt says:

omg im watching blade runner RIGHT NOW ;p

  9. Ron says:

I have the impression that Decker’s Asian coworker is also a replicant.

This movie is so far removed from the book “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” that it is pretty useless looking there for the answer.

    Anyhoo, neat graph.
